These seven topics run through everything we do. They shape our workshops and camps, guide the curriculum our student instructors build, and sit at the center of our mission to make STEM approachable for younger students.

Our Story

Founded by high schoolers, built for the grade levels just below their own.

ElevateMinds STEM Foundation is a youth-led nonprofit dedicated to giving elementary and middle school students hands-on STEM experiences outside the traditional classroom, through workshops, camps, and community projects.

We're run entirely by high school students who plan the curriculum, lead the workshops, and mentor younger students directly. The person teaching a robotics workshop was in that same seat only a few years ago and still remembers what actually made STEM click for them.

Our Approach

Learn, Explore, Build, Solve, Present

Every workshop and camp follows the same five-stage path, so students build both technical skill and the confidence to show their work.

A STEM concept, introduced in an age-appropriate way.

Explore

Guided activities to try the idea out hands-on.

Build

A real project, prototype, or experiment of their own.

Solve

Critical thinking to test, troubleshoot, and improve it.

A chance to explain their thinking and show what they made.

What We Run

Workshops, camps, and real community projects

Workshops

Focused sessions built around one topic at a time. Students spend most of the time doing, not just listening, and apply what they learn the same day.

Camps

Camps

Longer, immersive experiences where students rotate through multiple projects, working solo and in teams.

Community-Based Projects

Students identify a real challenge in their community and work with mentors to design a solution.
