Run by high schoolers.
Built for the grades right behind them.

ElevateMinds STEM Foundation is entirely youth-led. Every workshop, curriculum, and event on this site was planned by a student, not a curriculum company.

Our Mission

Hands-on STEM learning, outside the traditional classroom.

ElevateMinds STEM Foundation is organized for educational purposes to provide hands-on STEM learning opportunities to elementary and middle school students through workshops, camps, and community-based projects that promote curiosity, problem-solving, and academic growth.

Our programs are designed to encourage students to ask questions, experiment, build, create, collaborate, and develop confidence in their ability to solve problems.

Our Vision

A future where every student sees themselves as a builder.

We envision a future where students of all backgrounds have access to meaningful STEM opportunities and are encouraged to explore their interests from an early age.

We're working to build a growing community where young students discover STEM, develop valuable skills, and become the innovators, problem-solvers, and leaders of the future.

Our Story

Why we started ElevateMinds

We want students to see STEM as something they can actively participate in, not simply a subject they learn about in school. Here is how that idea has grown.

The Idea

A group of high schoolers who loved STEM and wanted younger students to love it too

ElevateMinds began with students who wanted to give elementary and middle schoolers the kind of hands-on, experiment-first STEM experience that isn't always possible in a standard classroom period.

The Model

A youth-led organization, top to bottom

High school members run every part of ElevateMinds, from program planning and curriculum development to workshop instruction, outreach, marketing, fundraising, and operations, and serve as direct mentors during programs.

Today

Workshops, camps, and community projects across New Jersey

We now run recurring workshops and camps across our STEM focus areas, with community-based projects as a growing part of what we do.

What's Next

Reaching more schools, more communities, one partnership at a time

Our long-term goal is to expand our programs to additional schools and communities while building lasting partnerships with libraries, schools, and local organizations.

Our Youth-Led Model

Students only a few years ahead, leading the way

One of the things that makes ElevateMinds different is that it's operated entirely by high school students, who contribute across every part of the organization.

Program Planning

Designing what we teach and how we teach it.

Curriculum Development

Building age-appropriate, hands-on lesson plans.

Workshop Instruction

Leading and mentoring during every session.

Event Organization

Planning logistics for workshops and camps.

Outreach & Marketing

Reaching new students, schools, and families.

Fundraising

Keeping programs accessible and well-supplied.
